Meet the staff of Woodstock's Brighter Smiles Dental. We're excited to see all of your smiling faces!
My family immigrated to Canada from England in 1968. We settled in the Village of Stanley, where my two brothers, sister, and I attended school. I completed my BSc and DDS degrees at McGill University in Montreal from 1977-1984.
I moved back to New Brunswick in 1984 to practice dentistry while my husband Dale MacFarlane started his Land Surveying business. We both felt fortunate to raise our son Benjamin and daughter Bethany in the community of Woodstock. The town is small enough that neighbors are familiar with one another while still offering ample opportunities for individuals and young families in the arts, sports, and leisure activities.
My practice is founded on continuing education and staying current with digital and technological developments within the field. Computers, lasers, and other modern advancements have significantly improved the service we can provide, whether in Laser Bleaching, Laser TMJ treatments, Cerec dentistry, or digital record keeping.
Apart from enjoying my family and work life, I am currently serving on a committee supporting the Healthy Smiles Program with NBDS, and I am an active member of St. James United Church. I also serve on committees helping refugees transition to our region from other countries. As a landed immigrant who gained citizenship in 1977, I feel fortunate to enjoy all the benefits Canada has to offer. I am passionate about sharing the safety and beauty that this country provides with others.
I graduated from Dalhousie University School of Dental Hygiene in 1991. I have been practicing with Dr. Wagener since 1993. I am a hockey mom and enjoy yoga, gardening, photography, reading, and cooking. I am blessed with a wonderful family and circle of friends.
I graduated from UNB with a degree in Psychology specializing in Biopsychology in 2012. I graduated from Dalhousie School of Dental Hygiene in 2016 and started working for Dr. Wagener soon after. I am a new mom to a sweet baby girl, and in my spare time, I work as a licensed makeup artist. I enjoy reading, trivia, and spending time at the lake with my family.
Hi! I joined Dr. Wagener’s team in June of 2021 as her receptionist. My previous work in billing, reception, and banking has made it easy for me to transition into dental.
In my spare time, you can find me on the softball field, at home working on crochet projects, or spending time with friends kayaking the "Keg."
I look forward to meeting you!
I completed my dental assisting program at Niagara College in Ontario and relocated to New Brunswick in July 2024. I started working for Dr Sharon Wagener in October 2024 and I am grateful to join the team.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my son and friend, relax at home or go outside to enjoy nature. I also adore travelling.
