CEREC or Cerec stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics or sometimes CEramic REConstruction.
Essentially, it’s a sophisticated system for designing and making high-quality, metal-free dental restorations. CEREC uses 3D photography and CAD technology to assist in designing a virtual restoration (onlay, inlay, crown, or bridge) without taking impressions. When combined with a milling machine CEREC is able to build the actual restoration while you are still in the chair. We have a milling machine on site which reduces your appointments and chair time to a single visit.
